Throughout my life, there have been many moments where i've sunk into a deep, dark chocolate cake, with a rich frosting and have thought, 'I wish this was something I could eat without worrying about how sugary/fattening/unhealthy it is'. 18 years later, I've finally figured out a way to make luscious cakes, cupcakes or brownies wholesome so that the fats are good fats, the sugar natural and unrefined and minus the additives or preservatives that make our favorite desserts a bit harder to digest. Most importantly, the flavour remains the rich, melt-in-your-mouth kind.
